![]() ![]() PCSX2 welcomes you with the First Time Configuration screen. If you installed PCSX2 with an install wizard, you'd open it by going to your Start menu (your programs list) and open up PCSX2 there. Description: Increasing the internal resolution to above native causes vertical lines to appear.Vertical lines with internal resolutions above native Workaround: Under Graphic Settings > Hacks > Enable HW hacks and use a Texture Offset of 256 for both, X and Y, when using an internal resolution of 2x or 320 when using an internal resolution of 3x.Description: When internal resolution is increased, transparent effects on things such as torches will have the effect misaligned and floating next to the intended light source.Misaligned effects that rely on alpha transparency with internal resolutions above native Workaround: Lower the internal resolution to 3x or below.Description: If you set the internal resolution to anything above 3x the screen will have bloom effects covering much of the screen.Known Issues Graphical artefacts with internal resolutions above 3x Also known as Drag-On Dragoon 2: Fuuin no Kurenai (JP), Haitoku no Kuro (JP), Drag-on Dragoon 2: Love Red, Ambivalence Black, 드래그 온 드라군 2 (KO). ![]() If you play at native resolution, there is no graphical problems and no need for any user hack at all. But wait there's more problems, at any resolution but native, you would get vertical lines across the screen requiring you to set "Merge Sprite" in GSdx hacks, BUT even then, you will have a severe graphical problem causing characters in cutscenes to become blurry and smudged, I have not found any GSdx hack or setting to fix this. There must be a bug somewhere in PCSX2 and/or mesa causing this kind of bad performance on my specs. I al so had to disable 8bit textures, and set Blending Unit Accuracy to None, just to be able to run this at 60fps consistently, despite my specs. Had to set VU1 to "superVU Recompiler " or it would be CPU bound and I wouldn't be able to run it at 60fps. Test configurations on Linux: Environment Runs great up to 3x Native Res, but at 4x and above the bloom starts acting up. Game is too blurry even at the highest resolutions. Needs EE clamping set to "Extra+Preserve Sign" or "Full" for some characters and breakable objects to show correct colors. Higher res would slow down when special effects are happening. 60fps all the way thru using 3x native res on the 560ti. ![]() To resolve this, set a custom resolution instead (A maximum of 1240x1240 pixels).ĮE/VU Clamp modes: Extra+Preserve Sign/Normal. ![]() If you use D3D9/10/11 Hardware, with 2x Native Res or higher, black vertical lines may appear. SpeedHacks: INTC, Wait Loop Detection, mVU Flag Hack The game is the second entry in the Drakengard series and a direct sequel to the original Drakengard: the story revolves around Nowe, a boy raised by the dragon Legna, fighting against a tyrannical faction of Knights, encountering characters from the previous game and becoming entangled in the fate of the world. Drakengard 2 adds new features, such as the ability to switch among characters and to use magic. The game combines 3D flying and shooting aspects, as well as ground combat. This addition to the series continues the action-focused role-playing gameplay as you continue to explore and protect the red dragons.
